Upcoming Beats headphones teased by Lamine Yamal: New design, pink colorway - 9to5Mac

Last week, reports emerged around Apple developing a new pair of Beats over-ear headphones, with the FCC leaking an outline of the headphones, model number A3577. Now, leading into the world cup, Lamine Yamal has just openly teased the new Beats headphones in an Instagram post, likely to be a successor to Beats Studio Pro. Beats has had a long history of teasing upcoming products through celebrities, and this is no different. That said, I’d say this is slightly more substantial than usual – since these headphones look substantially different to their predecessors. The current Beats Studio Pro released in 2023, and for the most part, they looked pretty similar to the previous Beats Studio 3 from 2019. USB-C, Spatial Audio, and improved ear cushions were introduced – but they largely shared the same design language. These new Beats over-ears, potentially Beats Studio Pro 2, look very different. The headband looks somewhat similar to AirPods Max, with there being a thinner stem connecting to the ear cups that widens towards the top of your head. The cups also extrude from the ear cushions, rather than being a flush design. It also comes in a pink colorway. The more recent Beats Solo 4 come in pink, though the existing Beats Studio Pro do not.
